Traditional Master of Education in Elementary Education (Options in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education)

This master's degree program is designed for students who have undergraduate degrees/Class B Certification in early childhood education or elementary and wish to broaden their knowledge base leading to Class A Certification and a salary increase.

Master of Education in Special Education

Our rich curriculum includes topics like autism, high incidence disabilities, technology, and diversity. Our 100% online traditional Master in Special Education degrees are only 30 hours and may be completed in one calendar year.

Master of Education in School Counseling

The Counseling program at AUM is CACREP accredited and may yield multiple certifications as well as licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor.

Ed. S in Special Education

Our Education Specialist program in Special Education is fully online. Real life scenarios may practice in AUM's Virtual Avatar Laboratory (VAL).

Master of Education in Instructional Leadership

Completion of the program leads to Alabama Class A certification/Master in Instructional Leadership. Hybrid courses, face to face courses and online courses available.

Ed. S in Instructional Leadership

This one-year program prepares ethical and reflective practitioners, researchers, and scholars for work in K-12, and other educational settings. Graduates of this online program will upgrade to class AA license.
